About the event
This programme provides a practitioners’ overview of not only the legal and regulatory framework governing private wealth structuring in Singapore, but also the diagnostic framework under which practitioners can better serve their private wealth clients. The session will also examine the methodologies that can be employed when dealing with business families and family offices, and common vehicles commonly used in family office structures, including Variable Capital Companies (VCCs), trusts and limited partnerships.
Participants will be introduced to the regulatory considerations arising under Singapore’s tax incentive regimes under Sections 13O and 13U of the Income Tax Act, as well as the Global Investor Programme in the broader context of private wealth advisory work.
The session aims to equip practitioners with a working understanding of how to better serve private wealth clients and how these legal structures operate in practice.
